Golf course was in great shape. Price was fair. The bunkers werent in the greatest condition but if you dont have to play from them its not an issue. Overall, was a great round. Definitely would come back.

Mangrove Bay is one of the best value public golf courses in the St. Pete area. The course has a great practice setup with a putting green, chipping area, and driving range, making it a really good place to improve your game no matter your skill level. The rates are affordable, especially for residents and junior golfers, and the course is very walkable. It’s a fun Florida-style layout where some holes are open enough to help you recover from slices or missed shots, so it stays enjoyable for beginners while still offering enough challenge for experienced players. The greens are usually in very good shape, and the fairways are solid overall. There are a few rough or patchy areas you definitely want to avoid, but for the value, the conditions are impressive. Pace of play can sometimes back up during busy times, especially weekends, but it usually improves as the round goes on. The staff is friendly, and it’s often easy to walk on and get a tee time compared to other busy public courses nearby. Another great feature is being next to Cypress Links Golf Course, the par-3 course, which makes the area perfect for practice days, quick rounds, and short-game work. Overall, Mangrove Bay

My husband and I just returned from a 3week vac in the Maderia beach area and we played 8 rounds at Mangrove Bay golf course. We just wanted to say what a pleasurable experience we had, from your clubhouse staff to staff at turn on course pub etc, all were fantastic. Your course conditions to pace of play are benchmark. Truly a secret gem ,we met such nice people Big thank you to all. Very refreshing, who ever is in charge please keep up this great work

I’ll be honest — my last visit to Mangrove Bay was an awful, awful experience, and I wasn’t sure I’d ever return. But after hearing so many great recent reviews, I decided to give it another chance, and I’m truly glad I did. Yesterday’s round completely changed my opinion. The management has clearly stepped up — everything ran smoothly and professionally. The greens were in excellent shape, the course looked beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. It was a great experience from start to finish. Well done to the Mangrove Bay team for the improvements — I’ll definitely be back again!
